Joshua Lisec Ghostwriter and course creator

Joshua Lisec is a ghost writer with a unique talent stack. He helps his clients author award-winning and best-selling books and close contracts for their premium services and products.

One of the keys to Joshua's success is his understanding and mastery of persuasion in every form of writing. He also discusses how he writes in the voice of his clients, manages his workload, and how his system for structuring and editing content can be applied to every form of writing.

Joshua launched a new business teaching others how to persuasionize their own writing through his courses, "The Best Way to Say It: How to Write Anything From Blogs to Books With Epic Persuasion" and  "Write This, Not That : The 45 Anti-Persuasion Mistakes Your Making (And How to Fix Them)

(Full Disclosure: I purchased both courses and knew I would be recommending them and asked to become an affiliate. If you purchase either of the courses through the link, I receive a commission at no additional cost to you.)

Discreet Skills Discussed on the Show

Joshua and I discuss the concept of a "talent stack", introduced by Scott Adams, which is your unique combination of skills from various domains that make you valuable in the marketplace. The idea is that you don't have to be in the top 1% of any of them because the combination is what sets you apart.

  • persuasion
  • writing
  • acting
  • public speaking (Josh is a former TedX Speaker
  • marketing
  • project management
  • application of AI to write in the voice of his clients
  • course creation

How to Use Twitter Strategically to Amplify Your Message

Ed Latimore is a writer with a keen intellect and a powerful punch (literally). His unique background and perspective has attracted the curiosity of silicon valley angel investors, controversial influencers, top-notch podcasters and thought leaders from all over the world.

Ed has been a guest on top-rated podcasts like "The Knowledge Project" with Shane Parrish, "The Jordan Harbinger Show" and "The Art of Manliness" with Brett McKay, among others.

I noticed Latimore when random people, not connected to each other, were sharing and retweeting his content. I reached out to him when I realized he is a fellow Pittsburgher, a Duquesne U student (now graduate with a physics degree) and a professional boxer. Who does that?

I was happy to chat with Ed about how he exploited Twitter to grow his audience exponentially and create an online business in the process and change the trajectory of his life. (You're welcome for that physics reference-bonus points for the definition, a law or equation!)

Discreet Skills Discussed on the Show

Ed is a creator whose medium is words. He shares specific, actionable strategies in this episode to help anyone leverage Twitter regardless of your business, art, skill or agenda and avoid the mistakes he made.

  • Writing
  • Optimize your profile
  • Quote tweet don't retweet
  • Don't use bots or hire people who use them
  • Convey your personality and your own ideas
  • Post your own tweets
  • Use images sparingly
  • Comment thoughtfully on influential accounts
  • Stay out of Twitter jail
  • Steer clear of the "F" word (not what you think)
