Elizabeth Miller was a busy mom to two active teenagers and working full time when she and her husband found themselves also caring for their ailing and aging parents. Overwhelmed by the growing demands of caregiving long distance and recognizing her declining emotional and physical health, Elizabeth committed to a practice of making small, healthy choices for 100 days.

Her personal Instagram challenge evolved into a lifestyle blog, a podcast, public speaking engagements, social media partnerships, webinars and consulting.

We discuss how her business has evolved over the years, her first big check and where the skills and connections might take her next.

Elizabeth has figured out each element of the various projects related to Happy Healthy Caregiver on her own which will help her promote technical solutions for caregivers moving forward.

She also emphasized the importance of making connections and building relationships within the caregiving community to position herself as an influencer.

Todd Brison is a writer and advocate for all artists and creatives who used Medium.com intentionally to share his ideas, develop a consistent writing habit and to grow an audience. 

In spite of several model changes on the publishing platform, Todd still thinks Medium is the best way to build an audience from scratch and shares some specific, actionable strategies that are still relevant and effective.

I would love to have Todd back to discuss how he has succesfully leveraged other platforms such as Twitter, Quora, Youtube and Snapchat but today is all about Medium!
